Publications superseded by the revised Water Quality Guidelines, released in 2018 as an online resource.
Australian and New Zealand Environment and Conservation Council (ANZECC) & Agriculture and Resource Management Council of Australia and New Zealand (ARMCANZ), 2000
These guidelines were prepared in 2000 as part of Australia’s National Water Quality Management Strategy (NWQMS). They provided a comprehensive framework and guidance for the monitoring and reporting of freshwater, and marine water and groundwater. Described the design, application, analysis and reporting of monitoring programs. The document did not discuss drinking water, waste water and effluents covered by separate NWQMS guidelines. A shorter summary report accompanied the full report.
