The DGVs are expressed in terms of the dissolved active ingredient (paraquat as the paraquat cation) and do not relate to commercial formulations containing paraquat or any of the breakdown products of paraquat. They supersede the ANZECC/ARMCANZ (2000) trigger values for paraquat in freshwater.
